My name is Josh Haisell and I am a
proud licensed professional fishing guide.I have a deep passion for catching big fish and sharing my knowledge
(and methods) with others.
I was born in Hamilton Ontario, and
at age of 13 I moved here to Winnipeg. As I embraced Manitoba fishing, my
passion became inevitable. I bought my first boat when I was 17 and since then
have taken every opportunity to hit the water when I can. This has allowed me
to spend many springs and summers on various lakes throughout Manitoba and
Ontario. As well I have had plentiful experience ice fishing. I am an avid outdoor enthusiast alongside of being a husband and father to my beautiful children. My wife has supported my many journeys of fishing.My children have acquired a love for fishing and look forward to catching our bait for the next big adventures with daddy. Going fishing in the boat for the day is something we love to do as a family. Throughout the years I have enjoyed fishing in numerous tournaments in Manitoba and northwestern Ontario. My goal is to track down a beautiful Greenback Walleye or that Trophy Catfish of a lifetime. As a fisherman, I take great pleasure in being the one to experience an individual caching that 20-30lb fish. The look on their face after seeing what they have caught using the knowledge they have learned gives me a great feeling of accomplishment. There is nothing better than seeing a face light up with a big fish like a kid on Christmas morning. I encourage people of all ages, especially children to partake in fishing adventures.
